I am happy to report that I am now married to Peter Constantine and living in Formby, England, a suburb of Liverpool-hometown of The Beatles! I arrived here with my Spousal Visa in September, and following highly competitive auditions won trials with 4 major professional symphony orchestras.
During the Pandemic, I was fortunate to be able to further hone my viola skills while living at home with my parents, and performing as a freelancer with many professional orchestra- as Acting Asst. Principal Viola for the Sioux City Symphony, and also in the viola sections of the Fort Wayne Philharmonic, the Peoria Symphony and the Northbrook Symphony Orchestras, in addition to the Highland Park Strings and The Lake County Symphony Orchestra.
In the coming months, I am scheduled to perform on a weekly basis with each one of the fine orchestras I have auditioned for here in the UK, and already performed in my first trial with one major professional orchestra- Stravinsky's Rite of Spring Opening Concert in September. I am so excited, but working hard and loving every minute of it!
I look forward to my upcoming trip back to the US at the end of October, early November, and then hopefully again in the Spring, depending on my schedule and professional obligations!
